Garden pesticides on a scale of 1 to 20 would rank 19th or 20th in their effects on pollenators on a canadawide scale.Diseases and parasites of bees imported from other countries are the real culprets in killing our pollenators.

What have I done? Well being a nature photographer I have made my back yard into a bird and bug heaven, trees with flowers such as maple who then produce seeds. A small water pond with fauna to attract insects and many flowers to bring all nature to me rather then trying to find the ever decreasing number of birds and insects. That's a start, always looking to make things more inviting
